I am curious - Presently there may be a critical mass of lawyers with the requisite depth of experience to serve in the higher role of providing unique trustworthy guidance and counsel, once freed from the drudgery of repetitive legal tasks. Without at all suggesting that such drudgery contributes to developing valuable experience, or that law firm experience is even necessary for creating wise lawyers, how *will* future lawyers develop this valuable perspective and experience?

I'm so glad I'm retired from the practice of law.

In my experience, the devil (or God) is in the details.

If AI handles all the boring parts, what if the boring parts are the essential foundation of a greater level of expertise? And how does it affect critical thinking skills?

When you don't use a skill, you tend to lose it. That's a thought that gives me pause. :)
